Dual Enrollment Orientation
Description
This required orientation will prepare you for your early transition into college. We will cover everything from professors' expectations, student support services, and student clubs.
Please note: Information Sessions are required for all new Dual Enrollment students.

📍Orientations are held virtually via Zoom—you’ll receive the session link prior to the meeting.
⏰ Duration: The session will last about 45-60 minutes.
What to Expect:
- A comprehensive overview of the Dual Enrollment Program and the college-level expectations for students, parents, and supporters.
- Important information on placement testing, the academic calendar, college policies (including changing schedules and requesting transcripts), FERPA regulations, and the registration process.
Questions & Answers
Yes, students must receive guidance counselor approval before they can enroll in Dual Enrollment. Since the high school will still be the institution awarding your high school diploma, it's important to work with them throughout your 4Cs Dual Enrollment experience.
Orientation are held virtually via Zoom. Once you register, you’ll receive the Zoom link prior to the meeting. The session lasts about 60 minutes. Student participation is critical. Parents and supporters are welcome to attend.
The orientation covers everything you need to know about Dual Enrollment, including steps to sign up for classes, college-level expectations, the academic calendar, FERPA regulations, and how to plan for your future.
Students who have never taken a Dual Enrollment course before must attend an orientation. Returning students (who have attended an Information Session previously) are not required to attend a second Information Session.
